The scene was created primarily in 3D, with the exception of certain smaller elements such as monkeys, birds, crocodiles, goats, and similar details. Each object is assigned its own PBR material, with the exception of the books, which were composited in Photoshop (see screenshot below). Additional refinements and enhancements were made in Photoshop using matte painting and digital painting techniques.

The work incorporates references to various historical periods, including Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Dutch Golden Age, Native American cultures, the Mongol Empire, the Islamic Golden Age, Ancient Egypt, China, Japan, Africa, and Buddhism.
